Edge Products Maintenance Manager!

December 8, 2010

At Parley’s Diesel Performance maintenance is a key factor in improving the life and power of your diesel truck. However, sometimes it is difficult to remember and keep up on the maintenance schedule for your vehicle. Edge Products now provides a simple and effective way to remind everyone when  maintenance is due.

The Edge Maintenance Manager provides the ability to :

• Customize a comprehensive list of maintenance items to monitor
• Set up and monitor each selected maintenance item based on user-defined parameters
• Set alerts for advance notification of services that are coming due
• Once it has been indicated that a service has been performed, the Maintenance Manager will automatically reset the next service value

This powerful tool can help improve the reliability, performance, and longevity of your vehicle. If you are looking for better Dodge diesel performance, Ford diesel performance, or Chevy/GMC diesel performance.

The Edge products software update Version 2.2 for all Edge Evolution CS (Color Screen) and Evolution CTS (Color Touch Screen) products, which includes the Maintenance Manager software, also provides other new features such as:

• Metric Unit Support: You can now quickly and easily change between standard English units of measure and metric units of measure.
and,
• Extended Dodge PID (parameter ID) support: We now monitor additional engine and transmission parameters for Dodge diesel trucks.

To SEMA or Not To SEMA?

October 26, 2007

It’s that time of year again when Las Vegas turns into a Diesel Performance mecca of sorts.  All the other guys in the shop get to take off for the annual SEMA show and the web department gets to stay and make sure things are running right.  Do I sound Bitter?  It hurts even more to live and work on I-15, which is the main thoroughfare that connects Idaho (Home of Bullydog Diesel), Northern Utah (Home of Edge Products) and Southern Utah (Home of Parley’s Diesel Performance) to Las Vegas.

A couple days ago I saw the Bullydog guys getting back onto the highway after a pitstop at the local Flying J and I was half tempted to sneak aboard their rig, turn off my cell phone and just sort of disappear for the next week.  We will see though, I might just make it to SEMA yet!
